DOCX ut WebP Translatio
At what resolution / DPI does the WebP render?
+
Pages are rendered at 150 DPI, which is crisp on screen and fine for most printing. There is no DPI setting for DOCX to WebP. For 72 or 300 DPI, convert the DOCX to PDF first, then use the PDF to WebP converter, which has a Resolution setting.
Can I convert just specific pages of the DOCX to WebP?
+
No. There is no page setting for DOCX files, so every page is rendered as its own WebP and you keep the ones you need. If you only want the first page, convert the DOCX to PDF and then use the PDF to WebP converter, whose Pages menu offers First page only.
Will the WebP be searchable or selectable text?
+
No — rasterization of the DOCX to WebP turns text into pixels, so the image is not searchable or selectable. That is intentional: image output is for pixel-exact visual sharing. If you need editable or searchable output, convert the DOCX to DOCX or keep it as text instead.
Is my DOCX private during conversion?
+
Yes. Uploaded DOCX files are processed on our own conversion servers, no person reviews them, and they are never shared. The upload and the converted WebP are both deleted automatically about 24 hours after the conversion, which leaves time to download the result. See /privacy/ for the full policy.
Quantum est DOCX ad WebP per documentum longum?
+
It depends on the size and length of the file. Small documents and images are usually ready quickly. Long videos take the longest, because most video conversions re-encode every frame.
Why does my WebP look pixelated when zoomed in?
+
You are viewing a raster image, so zooming past its native resolution shows the pixels. A DOCX renders at a fixed 150 DPI here. For a sharper WebP, convert the DOCX to PDF and use the PDF to WebP converter at 300 DPI.
